I have this book 4 stars because when you are reading the stories you are not sure if it is the author who is doing all of the narration or if it is someone else which can be confusing at times. Still it will appeal to readers who enjoy tales of mystery and the paranormal. Some stories I've read before but there are many that are new to me. I think that his many book's about Haunted Liverpool should prove to be fascinating reading.Product details

I love all the Haunted Liverpool books. So many amazing stories. I'm so glad I found them. Makes me want to travel there.

Tom Sleman's books never fail to entertain and engross the reader! He is never redundant for all the volumes he has turned out. They are each a masterpiece in their own right!
Once again Tom Slemen knows how to give me a sleepless night. It is not because I am easily scared, but he writes in a way that captivates my mind for a few hours in a row (I am not a native speaker, so I cannot read as fast as I would like to). He is a true narrator who keeps the story exciting until the last word. I am reading his Haunted Liverpool books for some 3 years now and I devour each new book the moment it is released. I cannot wait for the next one.
With stories that sometimes have a Twilight Zone twist, others eerie, heart warming, and everything in between, A new tom Slemen book is a real treat. I have devoured every book he's written,an author who knows how to spin a tale like he does is almost unknown nowadays. He should give lessons.Start reading anyone of his books, and I guarantee you will read another, and another....
